BÖHLER WELDING PRESENTS: New high temperature Flux Cored Wires

For the today’s  booming energy market, there is a need to fabricate process equipment, whether it will be for new plants or refurbishment in an efficient, economical and safe way. For BÖHLER WELDING it was a challenge to develop new flux cored wires to meet the demands of ever increasing operating temperatures.

HeatExchanger (c) MCE
Both wires are rutile, slag leading flux cored wires, especially designed for the welding of high temperature
0,5 % Mo (DMO Ti-FD) resp.
0,5 % Mo and 1 % Cr (DCMS Ti-FD) steels with a temperature range up to 530°C resp. 550°C.

Standardisation:
BÖHLER DMO Ti-FD:
AWS A5.29-98:  E81T1-A1M
EN 12071:          T MoL P M 1

BÖHLER DCMS Ti-FD:
AWS A5.29-98:  E81T1-B2M
EN 12071:          T CrMo1 P M 1

Please ask about our latest Newsletter and learn more about the essential benefits of the flux cored wire in comparison to a solid wire:
- Higher Deposition Rates.
- Faster Travel Speeds.
As a result the length of a welding seam over the same time is more than double!

You can find the technical datasheets on this Website – in the menu Products – Product search!
